How to Arrive

The drive to La Cascade is picturesque. The nearest international airport, about forty kilometers or one and a half hours’ drive away, is Cochin International Airport (COK). The road from the airport climbs first through small villages and rubber plantations before entering the forest ghats.

If you are coming by train, then the nearest railway station is Chalakudy about 30 kilometers away. From Chalakudy you can hire a private taxi or use one of the frequent KSRTC private buses plying the route to Athirappilly/Malakkappara (the bus drops very close to the resort). The road is good but winding- if you’re a motion sickness person prepare accordingly.
